M1Links Link Building Services Frequently Asked Questions
We have compiled questions from clients like yourself, and our answers to those questions are detailed below.
How does it work?
In order to build incoming links to your sites from article, blog and social bookmarking sites, you start by providing M1Links with a seed article for each type of site. With a little tweaking, one seed article can satisfy the submission requirements of article, blog and social bookmarking sites.
M1Links realizes that one of the most difficult parts of building backlinks is making sure your content is unique enough so that the search engines do not discount them and the backlinks they contain. M1Links will help you with this issue by turning your seed article into spin format. Because spin technology is not perfect, given the complexities of the English language, you will need to perform some touch ups to ensure that your article will read well once it has been spun. With this feature, you can skip the added expense of article rewrites or the burden of rewriting the articles yourself. Just touch up and go.
M1Links will also layer your backlinks to bolster the articles that are pointing to your target site. Layering helps the search engines find your articles quicker, and if done in sufficient levels, may help increase the page rank juice that will flow to your site.
I already have a layered backlink strategy. How will M1Links help me?
You may use M1Links to build links directly to one of your layers, and in so doing, provide that layer with more page rank juice to pass up to your next layer. Think of it as not only buttressing the target layer, but also providing that layer with stronger links to pass along to the next layer up the chain.
Do I have to sign up for directories, blogs, rss and social bookmark sites?
You will not have to sign up for any of the aforementioned types of sites, nor will you have to deal with confirming any accounts associated with those sites. M1Links will handle all of that for you. In addition, you will not have to deal with any unwanted email originating from those sites.
When you say that M1Links will turn my seed article into spin format, what do you mean?
Because your articles will be submitted to numerous sites, it would be prudent to take steps to make them unique so that the search engines will not discount them and the backlinks they contain. In order to do so, most people rewrite their articles many times over; unfortunately, this approach is both expensive (if you outsource) or time-consuming (if you do it yourself), and if you have numerous sites to market, then you can begin to see how this process can easily become prohibitive.
Another approach would be to take your seed article and turn it into spin format. Basically, it works like this: select words and phrases are turned into tokens, so that when your article is spun, it would yield a different sentence each time.
For example, when this sentence, which is in spin format, is spun, it could yield many different forms, three of which are provided for illustration:
Sentence In Spin Format: {The 2010|The} {Soccer|FIFA|Football} World Cup {will be|is going to be} {held|played|conducted} in {South Africa|S Africa} {less than|in under} {six|6} months from {now|today}.
What do you mean when you say we need to perform some touch ups to ensure that our article will read well once it has been spun?
English, like most languages, is a complex one, replete with idiomatic expressions and words that take on different meaning depending upon the context in which it is used. Therefore, when we turn your seed article into spin format, invariably there will be sentences spun out of it that won't read very well.
For example, if you have this sentence in spin syntax:
The basketball team {played|performed|executed} very well tonight.
Each spun version makes sense:
However, the same token {played|performed|executed} may not make sense in this situation:
The sales team {played|performed|executed} brilliantly during the presentation.
The first version doesn't quite read well:
Thus, you would need to touch up the token {played|performed|executed}, and change it to {performed|executed}, that way you ensure that the first sentence noted above will never show up in your submitted articles.
How many times may I request my articles be converted into spin-format?
Each month, you will receive ten spin credits. Once you place the request, you should receive your article converted to spin-format in about 24 hours.
When will my backlinks appear on the web?
In the case of social bookmarks and rss submissions, those will appear on the web in about a day or two after you set it up on our site. For articles going out to directories and blogs, it may take a little longer as each directory and blog has its own review and approval process in place. In many cases, the article will be published within three to five days, and Google will index those articles shortly thereafter.
Are there limitations on the subject matter content of the articles I submit?
Yes. Adult-related and strictly sales oriented articles will generally be declined by a majority of the sites to which we submit, so we will be denying those types of articles. Additionally, resumes and CVs are also disallowed.
Are there language limitations?
At this time, we can only accept articles written in the English language.
How many link building campaigns can I run simultaneously with M1Links?
Each M1Links account may run at most ten simultaneous link building campaigns. Each of these campaigns may be throttled to submit articles, posts and bookmarks up to the maximum allowable per day.
Is there a cap on how many links I can build?
Yes, there is a maximum allowable volume per month. The maximum allowable volume, however, is measured in submissions, rather than links. Since articles and blog posts may have up to two links, each of those submissions will net you two links.
Each M1Links account may run up to ten simultaneous link building campaigns, with each campaign capable of submitting up to the maximum allowable per day. If you were to run everything on maximum setting, then in one month, you would end up with: 10 campaigns X 10 submissions X 30 days = approximately 3,000 submissions per month.
The current maximum limit is 2,000 submissions per month. If you average eight campaigns running eight submissions per day for the entire month, then you will end up under the maximum limit. 2,000 submissions per month is more than double what other link building services are offering, and it comes at a much lower price.
How much does the service cost?
The M1Links link building service costs $42 per month. This comes out to about a dollar and some cents each day, and this is what you get in return: conversion of your articles into spin format to get you started; submission of your articles to article directories and blogs; submission of your rss to rss aggregators; submission of your urls to social bookmarking sites; a link layering regimen for your submitted links; and a daily report to show you what has been done.
If your blog and article submissions have a couple of links in each of them, then you will end up with around 160 links, assuming a mix of 60% articles and blogs and 40% rss and social bookmarking. For a dollar and change, you could have 160 or more links per day!
